Nairobi National Park
The world’s only National Park in a capital city with over 400 species. You can kick off your morning with an early morning game drive to meet Africa’s King before you go shopping.
Located in the Nairobi National park you will get up close and personal with lions, buffalos, various species of monkeys, hyenas, cheetahs and other numerous wildlife species rescued and cared for by Kenya’s Wildlife service.
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
You can spend time and feed some of Kenya’s jumbos rescued from poachers and cared for by the David Sheldrick Trust. You could also get the opportunity to adopt and name an elephant calf.
Nairobi National Archives
Travel back in time to Kenya’s freedom fighters and the reality of colonial rule at the Archives in the Nairobi CBD. You can also see some of the traditional attire, jewelry and artistry our forefathers created.
Just because you are in the tropics doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some great ice skating. Just a 3 minute drive down Mombasa road from Nextgen Mall, the Panari Sky centre is home to East Africa’s sole indoor ice skating rink.
